Gerald Metcalf, ’79 MBA, founnded InSpect Resources LLC, an API inspection services located in the Clear Lake area.
Karen H. Perry, ’78 MS, is co-author of “Lil’ Tex Visits the Alamo,” which was recognized by ABC’s Children’s Picture Book Competition.
Karen Gillmouth Saultz, ’78 BS, is an accounting supervisor for Tenaris Hydril.

Carolyn Praytor Boyd, ’83 MA, was a juried poet at the 2007 Houston Poetry Fest and will be a featured poet in 2008.
Gavin Clabaugh, ’80 MS, is vice president and CIO of the C.S. Mott Foundation. Clabaugh was named one of the 2007 NPT Power and Influence Top 50 by Nonprofit Times.
Marsha Clapp, ’85 MA, has opened Wild Peach Rock Shop in Village of Wild Peach, Texas.
Robert J. Exley, ’84 MBA, ’82 BS, has been appointed president of Snead State Community College in Boaz, Ala.
Stephanie Jones Hawley, ’83 MS, is interim vice president for academic affairs at Malcolm X College of Chicago, Ill.
Daniel Holt, ’82 MS, ’77 BA, is vice president of business services at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas.
Candace J. Jones, ’82 BS, is executive director of the Fort Bend Museum Association in Richmond, Texas.
Allen McHenry, ’87 BBA, has earned the Certified Protection Professional designation from the American Society for Industrial Security. He is a postal inspector for the United States Postal Inspection Service.
Monette Miller, ’87 BS, is living in Wimberley, Texas.
Steve Phelps, ’80 BBA, ’91 Distinguished Alumnus, has been re-appointed to the Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority. He serves as chairman of the Port of Houston Authority Pension Committee.
Mara Savely, ’87 BA, is a subcontractor administrator supporting supply chain management for the space shuttle and International Space Station for United Space Alliance.
Christopher Vassiliou, ’83 BS, is a professional director serving on the boards of several companies. He also serves as an adviser for technology grants for New Zealand’s Foundation for Research, Science and Technology.
David Zach, ’81 MS, was the keynote speaker for Leadership Tulsa’s Annual Executive Leadership Series in Tulsa, Okla.

Martin Blain, ’96 MA, has been invited to participate in and submit a paper for the Oxford Round Table Conference to be held at Oxford University in England. Blain is a full-time professor of English at Houston Community College.
Scott Caudle, ’93 BS, was named director of Tribridge’s Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics NAV practices.
Kathy Jo Cook, ’92 BA, was named president of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts. She is a litigator for the law firm of Keches & Mallen in Taunton, Mass.
Craig Cordola, ’98 MHA/MBA, is CEO at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Jane Dunn, ’92 MBA, ’85 BS, works for BASF as an accountant.
Mike Fossum, ’97 MS, made his second trip to space May 31 onboard the space shuttle Discovery.
Rebecca Frame, ’90 BS, is employed in the radiation dosimetry department at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
