UH in the Community

One of the special things about UH is that is it located in Houston, the fourth largest city in the U.S. UH and the Houston community are deeply intertwined. Research programs are linked with local industries, students and alumni are movers and shakers in the Houston business and economy, outreach programs do good works on campus and throughout the neighborhoods.

Community Resource Guide - Search over 600 University of Houston System community initiatives developed to address every aspect of life in Houston, from assisting in primary and secondary education to helping local impoverished households and providing critical expertise to metropolitan governments.

Speakers Bureau - Do you need a speaker for an event or gathering? Whether you are planning a large conference for technical experts or a small gathering for your civic club, the University of Houston Speakers' Bureau can help you find just the right one.
