If you have been approved with some revisions to your e-portfolio, as you work on your capstone experience, revise any recommended revisions or additions that may have been noted during your first e-portfolio review. If your INST faculty advisor has recommended that you will need to resubmit your e-portfolio for a final review, make sure all revisions are complete one month before your completing capstone experience.
If you are recommended by your faculty advisor to resubmit your e-portfolio, you should work with your faculty advisor to ensure that your e-portfolio meets the INST program ACET/ECIT and IBSPTI standards before you make your final e-portfolio review. Keep in mind that the primary purpose of the portfolio is to help guide your professional development. Completing your coursework and capstone experience (with a B or better GPA) and presenting your portfolio on the specified date qualifies you for graduation. Failure to demonstrate achievement of program standards with your portfolio will NOT stop you from graduating. It will help you, your faculty advisor and external review identify areas that may require further attention after graduation.
During the semester at least one month prior to completing your master's thesis, project or internship, you must submit your portfolio and schedule a meeting with your faculty advisor one to discuss the revisions made to the e-portfolio from the results of the first review. Please be advised that you need to allow a significant amount of time (at least one month) for the faculty advisor to review the final submission of your e-portfolio to ensure your e-portfolio requirement is met before graduation.
