The Signal Bayousphere Communication Internships The communication internship is pivotal in the transition from student to working professional. The semester-long experience gives students an opportunity to gain professional experience and build their portfolios, while networking with professionals in their field. Students complete 150 hours on-site for three hours of course credit and have the option of completing a second internship as an elective. Students must pass the GSP test before they can enroll in the internship course.
