Commencement Kick-Off
5:30-7:00 pm, Bayou Building, Atrium I
Open to all.
Preregistration: Tickets available at the Office of Student Life. Each graduate will receive three (3) complimentary tickets; additional tickets may be purchased for $2 each.
The Kick-Off is held the evening before Commencement to celebrate graduates and welcome them as new members of the UHCL Alumni Association. Join us for delicious hors d'oeuvres, live music, photo opportunities with Dr. Staples or your school's dean, presentation of UHCL Alumni Association pins to graduates by school deans, an overview of alumni benefits at the Alumni Perk Zone and exciting door prizes.

New Student Orientation
8:30 am - 1:00 pm, starts in Bayou Atrium I
Registration: Walk-ins are welcome, but pre-registration with Student Life is encouraged.
During New Student Orientation, you become acquainted with UHCL procedures and campus life, meet with academic advisors, meet key faculty and staff, learn strategies for success, interact with current students and receive a campus tour. Tours available at 1:00 pm.
