There are now three distribution lists for mass mailings that can be found in the Outlook Addressbook Faculty under both the Global Listing and the Faculty & Staff listing:
· _CL_UHCL_BENEFITS_ELIGIBLE_EMPLOYEES – This new DL contains the names of all employees at UHCL that are “benefits eligible”. It does not include adjunct faculty, temporary staff, or student workers. This list is maintained by Joanne Slovacek, Office of Human Resources.
· _CL_UHCL_EMPLOYEES – Includes ALL employees that have an e-mail address on the UHCL domain—which means not only everyone on the above list, but also student workers, adjuncts, temporary or part-time employees, and retirees. This list is a system generated list. It is automatically updated whenever new accounts are created or deleted on the UHCL domain.
· _CL_UHCL_FACULTY – Contains only full-time faculty. It does not include adjunct faculty. This list is maintained by Charise Armstrong in the Provost’s Office.
There is no distribution list for students due to the large number and the fluid nature of student accounts, Student accounts automatically expire, but are not deleted if the student graduates or if they sit out a semester. Accounts are reinstated once the student enrolls again. For that reason, student accounts are not immediately deleted since some may return to UHCL.

UH-Clear Lake’s First Live Stream!UH-Clear Lake broadcast its first live stream of the commencement ceremony on May 16th. This opportunity afforded the friends and family of UHCL graduates the luxury of watching the commencement ceremony from the comfort of their home. Given the limited seating in Reliant Arena, students were asked to limit the number of guests they invited. In some cases international families could forgo the expensive costs associated with travel and proudly watch the graduation of their favorite loved one. The live stream was a success. Just, look at the numbers.
