The Center for Educational Programs offers one-to-one tutoring for reading, writing, and study skills improvement for students in grades 1 - 12 in the spring, summer and fall semesters. University personnel for the program are graduate and undergraduate interns who are completing their respective state certification programs. Interns are supervised by highly qualified university faculty.
Each student accepted for tutoring will be administered diagnostic tests, as necessary, to determine specific strengths and needs. Parents and tutors have regular meetings to discuss the progress of the students. At the completion of the tutoring a final conference is held and a final progress report is sent to parents. In past semesters the fee for this program has been about $300 per child.
