Brand New Laboratory Course Elective for the Biotechnology Certificate

Register for BIOL 4931.02 Selected Topics Biological Sciences: Genomic sequencing
Course Description: Students will learn how to use the LiCor 4300 DNA analyzer and will participate in the Texas Cattle Tick Genomic Sequencing Project.
Prerequisite or Corequisite: Molecular Biology Lab or Lab for Biotechnology

All students completing this course are eligible in the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 semesters for Independent Study with Dr. Larry Rohde on the Tick Genome project. Independent Study can also be used as an elective for the Biotechnology Certificate.
