The Statistics Program allows its students to compete for a limited number of teaching assistantships. Candidates for assistantships must complete the Graduate Teaching Assistant Application and return it to the math department secretary. Full-time graduate students in statistics qualify for these positions semester by semester; renewal is subject to satisfactory performance. Teaching Assistant duties include grading homework and conducting help sessions for instructors who teach undergraduate statistics courses.
