Research Assistant

Individual faculty members hire research assistants; hiring is not coordinated centrally. Availability of research assistant positions depends on research and other funding, so the number of available positions changes from semester to semester. Check with faculty members for their research interests and availability of RA slots.

With the exception of the computer security laboratory, students requesting support should contact Krishani Abeysekera. Direct technical questions to Krishani or to her Research Assistants (RA). Direct questions for the computer security laboratory to Dr. Andrew Yang.

To apply, fill in the RA application and bring it to the faculty supervisor for the RA position.

Note: Students need an approved Candidate Plan of Studies (CPS) to qualify for employment as a RA.
