Computer Science Program: School Staff

The School of Science and Computer Engineering (SCE) helps Computer Science faculty and students pursue their professional goals. Contact SCE at 281-283-3700, Bayou Building Room 3600. The following administrators and staff support the Computer Science program.    

University of Houston-Clear Lake      
The Interim Dean of the School is Dr. Sadegh Davari ( davari@uhcl.edu) of the School is assisted by his executive secretary, Ms. Deborah McFadden ( mcfadden@uhcl.edu; 281-283-3703). The dean is in charge of the school and makes the ultimate decisions about school issues.

Interim Associate Dean Dr. Dennis Casserly ( casserly@uhcl.edu) is assisted by his administrative secretary, Ms. Mary Parham ( Parham@uhcl.edu; 281-283-3717). The associate dean's office deals with most student matters: paperwork for thesis, course withdrawal, and other academic policies and procedures.

The Computer Science program is part of the Division of Computing and Mathematics. Dr. Bun Yue ( yue@uhcl.edu) is the division chair. The division also offers the Computer Information Systems, Mathematics and Statistics program. 

Mr. Michael MacDonald ( macdonald@uhcl.edu; 281-283-3718) coordinates business for the School. He handles paperwork for teaching assistants and research assistants.

The two academic advisors, Ms. Barbara Coleman and Ms. Dorothy Hogg, are also located in the dean office.
