6.2 FACULTY OFFICE HOURS
Approved 1984
Faculty members should maintain regular office hours when students or staff may contact them. The schedule of office hours is to be posted in a visible place in the faculty suite. The number of office hours will vary depending upon the nature of the individual’s assignment and upon how many student advisees are assigned to him or her, normally 6 hours per week in a regular semester. Faculty members are also expected to maintain office hours during registration periods.
