Upcoming Events for Fall 2007

The month of October is Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we are going to be busy!!!!

October 8-18
We will have boards around that will have cards in memory of women who have lost their lives to domestic violence. we will also have boards around campus for breast cancer awareness. they will be in the Bayou Building, so be sure to take a look and pick up any information!!!
October 10, 2007
We will have a fundraiser and item dropoff. we would like to collect feminine hygene products or anything that a women needs if in a shelter or hospital, we are teaming up with bay area turning point and the rotary club, please help us kick this off in a big way!!!
October 23, 2007
We are co-sponsoring with psi chi and we are bringing a speaker in, Chuck Crocker, and he will be speaking about how women can negociate the salary that is desired. it starts at 5:00pm and lasts to 6:30pm, in the Garden Room.
November 5, 2007
Toby Myer may be coming to speak about domestic violence.
