Study cultural diversity – past and present; gain new ways of looking at your own society and its place in the world; learn methods of participant observation, interviewing, life history, and archaeological excavation.
Undergraduate Major
Majors take 18 hours in anthropology in addition to general requirements for behavioral sciences. Coursework presents a cross-cultural perspective on such topics as religion, ethnicity, politics, economics, gender, and family relations and provides an overview of contemporary societies of Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
No prior coursework in Anthropology is required. Students can enter the program through the 2+2 or other transfer plans.
