Department: VISIONS After-School Enrichment Program - Clear Lake Presbyterian Church, www.clpc.org Position: Teacher Description of Job
Supervise, teach, tutor and guide children in grades K-5. Job Duties include (but are not limited to) the following::
Care for children in grades K-5
Supervise children at all times
Plan daily activities for children
Implement curriculum
Create and maintain an orderly environment
Follow center policies
Beware of student individual needs
Maintain a list of names of the children under teacher care
Enforce the VISIONS discipline policy consistently and fairly
Assist in the program as needed
Assist in setting up and cleaning up classroom activities
Cooperate and help fellow Teachers
Receive a minimum of 15 clock hours of training per year
Know /learn Minimum Standards for childcare facilities— adhere to them
Abide by and ensure that procedures in minimum standards are followed in the classroom

Job Requirements
18 of years of age
High School Diploma/GED
CPR & First Aid Certified (will certify)
Receive 8 hours of Pre-service training if applicant has no previous experience as a caregiver in a childcare facility.
Must have completed at least 1 Child Development Class (or currently taking one).
