National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program
Since 1952, the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program has recognized and supported future leaders in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Each year, NSF awards over 1,000 fellowships to outstanding students in these fields.
Award: 3 years of fincancial support including: $30,000 annual stipend, $10,500 annual cost-of-education allowance and $1,000 one-time foreign travel allowance.

The Ann Rogers Scholarship
The Ann Rogers Scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to student teachers doing their student teaching internship in social studies in the state of Texas.
Award: $1,000

Foreclosure.com Scholarship  Program
Foreclosure.com is looking for the most creative ideas on how to solve the current forclosure crisis. All college student students and incoming freshmen are invited to apply by submitting an original essay. This years topic is "How to solve the forclosure crisis."
Awards: $5,000 (first place)

Humane Studies Fellowships
Each year, Humane Studies Fellowhips of up to $12,000 are awarded to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students exploring the principles underlying a free society.

2010 Talbots Scholarship Foundation
In keeping with its long-standing tradition of helping women succeed, the Talbots Charitable Foundation is proud to present the 2010 Talbots Scholarship Foundation and the inaugural Nancy Talbot Scholarship Award for perseverance and ingenuity, which is presented in memory of the founder of Talbots. This program empowers women to enrich themselves through learning and achieve a college education later in life. Only the first 5,000 eligible applications submitted will be processed.
Award: $15,000 or $30,000

The Elie Wiesel Prize In Ethics
The essay contest for the Elie Wiesel Prize In Ethics is designed to challenge college students to analyze the urgent ethical issues confronting them in today's complex world. Students are encouraged to write thought-provoking personal essays that raise questions, single out issues and are rational arguments for ethical action.

Florence Terry Griswald Scholarship I
The Florence Terry Griswald Scholarship I assists a female student from one of the Pan American Countries (other thatn the United States) in pursing her studies in the state of Texas.
Award: $2,500

The U.S. Bank been offering their scholarship program for the past thirteen years to help students fund their education. This year, U.S. Bank continues the tradition through their Internet Scholarship Program, awarding up to forty $1,000 scholarships- 10 more than last year! Winners will be selected randomely.
