Mission
Founded in 1981, the University of Houston-Clear Lake Alumni Association’s mission is to enhance the pride and loyalty of its alumni and community, to promote the interests of the university and encourage lifelong relationships with UHCL.
The purpose of the Association is to foster and strengthen relationships between alumni, students, the university and the community through active leadership to achieve a unity of purpose and action, provide meaningful services and participate in the university’s unique tradition of shared governance.
Alumni events support the UHCL Alumni Association Scholarship Endowment. Proceeds from these events help deserving students further their education at UHCL.

Celebrate UHCL’s 50,000 alumni milestone throughout the 2009-10 academic year at one or more of the UHCL Alumni Association’s exciting events.
Activities planned include the premier of UHCL AlumNight in September, an AlumNight New Year’s Star Party in January and an Alumni Association Breakfast Roundtable in February.
