UHCL is an upper-level university offering junior, senior, and graduate courses only. We work closely with local community colleges and four-year colleges to make your transition as easy as possible. Smooth transitions are the key to a happy and successful college experience.
Because two thirds of our undergraduate students come from community colleges, we have worked hard to make sure that what you’ve taken at a community college will transfer to UHCL. We work closely with counselors from area community colleges to meet your needs and keep you informed. One third of our undergraduates come from public and private four-year universities who are looking for a challenging program from a respected university,
Enrolling in UHCL’s Unilink program assures you that your time at a community college is truly a stepping stone to your four-year degree at UHCL.
Or if you follow our 2 + 2 Transfer Plan you’ll be sure that your community college course work will prepare you to enter UHCL.
